Classroom and field experience on prescribed fire as a safe and cost-effective land stewardship practice.
Participants will complete the 16 hours of training that is needed to be a burn boss in Maryland.
April 23, 8:30 - 4:30 Classroom learning. April 24, 8:30 to TBD. Hands-on field-based learning. Weather permitting, class will conduct a prescribed fire. Agenda will be provided the week of the workshop.
